Tasting Notes

Sydney Sommelier Ben Moechtar's tasting notes:

Inky red crimson colour, quite deep and bright. A dark fruited, brooding wine of formidable depth. Takes a while to open up. Red, creamy fruits, pink rose petals, red cherry and plum with a whisper of peppery spice. Medium to full-bodied. Very elegant and complex. Has aromas of cedar and dark, smoky charcuterie over blood plums and blackberry. This wine finishes with super fine, long tannins and deserves several years in the cellar.
