Odem Mountain Winery
Odem Mountain Winery was established by Idit & Michael Alfasi in 2003 in the north of the Golan Heights. Odem Mountain Village is built at a height of 1,100 meters above sea level and is surrounded by a striking oak forest. Adam and Yishay Alfasi, the sons of the Alfasi family are the winemakers.
The grapes are grown in the quality appellations of Israel – the north part of Golan Heights, and the Galilee Mountains where the winery owns five vineyards:
Neve Adtiv vineyard locatede in the Golan Heights.
Valley of Tears vineyard located in the Golan Heights at the foot of Mt. Hermonitat 1200 m above sea level.
Ben Zimra vineyard located in the Upper Galilee.
Kfar Yuval vineyard located in the Upper Galilee.
Shaal vineyare located in the North of the Golan Heights.
Odem Mountain wines have been awarded prizes in Israel and around the world, including the "Best boutique winery in Israel for 2015" award at the Israeli Terra-Vino international competition, and gold medals in the international competitions in Panama, Argentina, Spain, Paris and New-York.
